Acrodyne quickly adapts to support its business partners

We’ve just successfully completed a Factory Acceptance Test for these Limitorque L120-40 actuators which Frank Busse built and tested for one of our customers via a live feed.

Originally, the plan was for the customer to visit our Melbourne warehouse for inspection however due to the unexpected COVID-19 pandemic, it meant that this setup was no longer viable. We understand that the Factory Acceptance Test is an essential part of the process and therefore we have made adjustments to cater for our customer’s needs.

These actuators are to be delivered and installed at a Waste Water Treatment Plant in Fiji as part of their Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) upgrade. Each actuator consists of a motor specially designed for continuous duty, a 5 Gear Limit Switch (5GLS) to accommodate up to 6400 drive sleeve turns and a loop powered signal converter which provides analogue position feedback even in the absence of the main power supply.
