About this event

Federation University ’s Breakfast with Fed talk series is back again in September in a virtual format.

Breakfast with Fed gives our communities an opportunity to learn about the significant work our researchers are doing, locally, nationally and internationally. This event’s theme, ‘Food Sustainability for the Future’, highlights Federation University’s research in food sustainability, which informs our new Bachelor of Sustainable Food Systems.

Food sustainability is the study of food security, health, safety, quality and affordability, influenced by the changing climate and environment. With the world population expected to reach 9.7 billion by 2050*, Federation University is creating new ways to help solve the problems of developing a safe, healthy and nutritious food supply for people worldwide.

More information, including the program of speakers and a link to take part in this virtual event, will be provided in the coming weeks.
