Speaking Words of Wisdom, with Dr Louise Mahler

Two things make communication tough today – the underlying emotion brought on by uncertainty and our use of digital tools such as Zoom and MS Teams.

So, as The Beatles song says –  “In times of trouble, speak words of wisdom.” Ok, that’s not quite what the song says…but what do words mean anyway? If you want real wisdom, research shows it isn’t in the words at all – it’s in your body and voice.

In this workshop you will learn how to:

• use your voice
• hold your body for gravitas, and
• use these skills when handling emotion.

Louise is a powerhouse of academic insight, observational excellence and dynamic delivery and will shed new light on a topic that is critical to us all – ourselves!

Dr Louise Mahler | A winner of the 2021 Speaker of Excellence award and recently voted the Top 30 Global Guru in Body Language, Louise has developed the Mahler Method – teaching the vital techniques to ‘be heard’ in hostile environments. You will learn skills that bring powerful observation and positive change. A foremost expert in body language, voice and human behaviour, Louise has a PhD in Business, and degrees and masters in Organisational Psychology as well as Music. Louise is regular contributor to the media appearing on Australian television, print and radio and speaks and coaches worldwide.
