Calling all local small-scale and craft producers! A new round of funding through the Small-Scale and Craft Program is now open.
 
If you’re looking to modernise your equipment or adopt new technologies, diversify your product range, or expand your outreach then this opportunity could be for you. Eligible agribusinesses can receive up to $15,000 in funding through the program.

Tourism Grants for Indigenous Business

The Tourism Grants for Indigenous Business funding round aims to increase the number of Indigenous-owned tourism products available in the market. This grant round will support Indigenous-owned tourism businesses and Indigenous-owned community organisations to plan for or grow their new/existing tourism businesses within the tourism sector.

Up to $50,000 will be available for Indigenous-owned businesses and up to $100,000 will be available for Indigenous-owned community organisations.

Eligibility:

Grant recipients must be a 50 per cent or more Indigenous-owned entity. Up to $50,000 will be available for Indigenous-owned tourism businesses and up to $100,000 will be available for Indigenous-owned community organisations.

Applicants must meet all eligibility criteria outlined in the Tourism Grants for Indigenous Business Opportunity Guidelines.

Up to $50,000 will be available for Indigenous-owned businesses and up to $100,000 will be available for Indigenous-owned community organisations.

Total Amount Available (AUD):

$3,000,000.00

Estimated Grant Value (AUD):

Modern Manufacturing Initiative – Manufacturing Integration Stream

The Manufacturing Integration Stream will support projects that integrate Australian businesses into domestic and international value chains. It should propel their goods and services into new markets and foster Australia’s reputation as a modern manufacturing leader.

It will encourage and facilitate linkages between local businesses and domestic and international firms, increasing scale, supply capacity, and the ability to innovate. It will also facilitate the adoption of product standards and greater sharing and transfer of knowledge.

The objectives of the Manufacturing Integration Stream include:

  • support Australian manufacturing businesses and entrepreneurs to participate in local and global value chains
  • encourage manufacturers to adopt new technologies to support entry into new markets with innovative solutions to build scale and capability
  • support Australian manufacturers to overcome barriers that are preventing them from identifying and accessing new value chains (as outlined in the relevant priority road map)
  • create new jobs in the manufacturing sector, by integrating into new local and global value chains

The Australian 5G Innovation Initiative provides businesses with opportunities to trial and test 5G applications that demonstrate 5G’s capability and benefits across a range of industry sectors and locations.

Grants up to $2 million to demonstrate the value of 5G technology to businesses in Australia.

Who is this for?

Incorporated companies, trustees, not for profit organisations and Local Government or State/Territory Government agencies where an application involves a partnership with at least one other eligible entity.

  • supports 5G trials that undertake rigorous, commercial, and replicable testing of 5G technology
  • offers businesses the opportunity to identify 5G applications that demonstrate 5G’s capability
  • supports various projects that demonstrate 5G’s capability and benefits across a range of industry sectors and locations.

Funding for businesses to translate research and ideas into commercial outcomes

The Manufacturing Translation Stream will support projects that aid the translation of high quality research and ideas into commercial outcomes and support businesses to scale-up and become more competitive and resilient. It will support businesses to adopt new technologies and improve their manufacturing processes to boost productivity and competitiveness.

The Space National Manufacturing Priority road map sets out a vision to support a globally recognised Australian space sector with the capability, capacity and expertise to locally design, develop, manufacture and deploy specialised products, equipment, systems and services for exporting to international markets and to support national and international space missions.

Eligibility:

To be eligible you must:

  • have an Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • be non-tax-exempt
  • be registered for the Goods and Services Tax (GST)
  • Estimated Grant Value (AUD):From $1,000,000.00 to $20,000,000.00
