Project Description

The Yarra Ranges Shire Council, (‘the Principal’) invites tenders from suitably experienced parties for CT6165 Path Construction along Sheffield Road from Taruna Rise to Mount Dandenong Tourist Road, Montrose (‘the Works’), (Melways Ref Map 52 B11). Tenderers are advised that works will preferably commence as soon as possible following tender award and the project must reach Practical Completion by no later than 30 June 2021 (providing this can be achieved in compliance with relevant Covid-19 restrictions). Please refer to Principal amendments to AS 4000-1997 Clause 47 (in this tender document) – the Principal authorises the Contractor to, and the Contractor must, manage or control the Workplace to the extent necessary to discharge the duties imposed on a principal contractor under the OH&S Regs etc. Tender submissions must be received by the TENDER CLOSING TIME or as otherwise changed by addenda. Tender submissions received late or by any other means than via the e-tendering portal will not be accepted unless agreed to in writing (via email or letter) by Council’s Procurement Services prior to the tender closing time as per the Conditions of Tender document enclosed.
