The provision of a quality assured contract for the Road Renewal of Commercial Road between Burwood Hwy and Wilson Street, Ferntree Gully and associated drainage works.
This includes the following scope of works:
• Construction of Kerb and Channel and AG Drains;
• Pavement Patching and asphalt resheet of existing pavement;
• Upgrade of Drainage Pipes and Pits;
• Minor Traffic Control measure; and
• Linemarking and associated works.
The tender is structured Stage 1 – Commercial Road between Burwood Hwy and Wattletree Road and Stage 2 – Commercial Road between Wattletree Road and Wilson St, Ferntree Gully.
The prospective contractors shall visit the sites so as to be fully acquainted with the physical characteristics of the site before submitting the tender.
Unless specifically exempted by Council in writing, Tenderers for this project must be accredited under the Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) National Prequalification Program, or Council approved equivalent, at the time of submitting a tender.
Tenderers will be required to submit a detailed works program and intended methodology for the entire works and this will form a key element of the evaluation process.
