1.1 The Yarra Ranges Shire Council invites tenders from suitably experienced parties for the Design and Construction of Upwey Skate Park Redevelopment, 6 Mahony Street, Upwey (‘the Works’), (Melways Ref Map 74 K9). 1.2 Tenderers are advised that the Detailed Design and Construction start date shall be no later than 1st April 2021 and the project must reach Practical Completion by no later than 30th November 2021. Please note: as the Project has external government funding, dates and milestones are critical. 1.3 Tenderers are expected to visit the site and obtain generally for their own information any particulars which may affect the execution of Works. The site is available for inspection at any time. 1.4 Please refer to Principal amendments to AS 4902-2000 Clause 45 (in this tender document) – the Principal authorises the Contractor to, and the Contractor must, manage or control the Workplace to the extent necessary to discharge the duties imposed on a principal contractor under the OHS Regulations etc. 1.5 Tender submissions must be received by the TENDER CLOSING DATE or as otherwise changed by addenda. Tender submissions received late or by any other means than via the e-tendering portal will not be accepted unless agreed to in writing (via email or letter) by Council’s Procurement Services prior to the tender closing time as per the Conditions of Tender document enclosed.
